I liked this one a lot. Speaking of practical advice, it is a gold mine. It is a gold mine of self-love and self-improvement. This book advises on the process of getting back in touch with yourself and one day achieving the ever-lofty goal of loving ones-self. It's about the little things, for sure. Appreciating flowers and not judging yourself for being soft. Determining who you want to be and how you want your life to be and slowly achieving those goals day by day, hour by hour. And also holding yourself to a higher standard, while being ultimately forgiving of every fault or perceived failure.

Living an intentional life is no easy feat. And the words here are absolutely well-guided. "We know what we need to tackle, we just need to commit to it." And how true those words are. Gratitude is magical in many ways. Even my therapist encouraged me with similar phrases. It's all about growing a pair of ovaries, picking yourself up by your bootstraps, and loving yourself so effectively and intentionally that your self-actualization is imminent.

The format of this book, as almost a step-by-step guide to figuring yourself out, is incredibly helpful, so that you can steal different things that work for you and apply them to your life. Because it's written as a guide, it's easy to navigate and sticky-note to death, for sure. And the format Tara chose helps the reader trust the source as mucha s she does.

Real relatability - this book is meant for millenials FOR SURE. Not only are the references understood and clearly directed towards the millenial generation, but Tara speaks from the heart. Especially as an audiobook, it feels like a conversation with a smarter, older, wiser sister. The realistic speech choices and relatability of the content make this, yet again, a diamond in the rough. You don't expect it to hit as hard as it does, but it absolutely does.

Conclusion? Get this book. Even if you feel like you have your life together, Tara is sure to give you advice that either you've never heard before or need to hear again. A re-reader for sure - give this one a chance.

-Much love,

Brieanna
